Terms & Conditions
Website terms and conditions of trade, of Floriculture Limited - trading as Floriculture.
These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding contract between the customer (“You”) and Floriculture Limited (“Floriculture” or “We”) and apply to the ordering, purchase, fulfilment and delivery of goods and/or services (“Goods”) from www.floriculture.co.nz. By placing an order for goods and/or services from Floriculture you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
Please read the following Terms and Conditions carefully before placing your order. The Terms and Conditions contain important information about the ordering, processing, fulfilment and delivery of Goods.
Floriculture Limited is a New Zealand owned company, located in Auckland, New Zealand. All prices shown are in New Zealand dollars (NZD) and inclusive of 15% GST (goods and services tax)

Privacy Policy
Online purchasing:
Floriculture does not collect or store credit card information. All credit card transactions are processed by the Shopify payment gateway.
Personal information:
Floriculture receives your personal information when the order is placed, and requires this information to contact you if necessary. You can choose to opt in to receiving email newsletters from Floriculture, and can opt out at any time.
Card messages:
We will print your messages directly onto a card most of the time, they are occasionally handwritten. We reserve the right to correct minor typographical errors unless advised not to do so. If no message is provided, we will send without.
We will not print messages we deem highly offensive or abusive. In this instance you will be contacted for an amended message, if one is not provided (or we are unable to contact you) we reserve the right to send the goods without the message.
Sending anonymously. As per NZ privacy laws Floriculture exercises a “do not divulge” policy unless we are informed otherwise by you. Floriculture cannot legally divulge any order information, unless required to do so by legal authorities or Police related inquiries.
Seasonal Availability and Substitution
The images of floral arrangements on our website are indicative of style and basic colour theme only. We strive to replicate the style and feel of each design, but due to seasonal availability and the natural variation of flowers, substitutions may be necessary. Flowers may arrive in tighter bud form to ensure their freshness and longevity. While we aim to create arrangements that are similar to the photographs, there may be slight differences in colour, bloom stage, and variety.
For any non floral items i.e. wrapping, containers or add on gifts - on the rare occasion that we are unable to supply the goods as described, Floriculture reserves the right to substitute with an item of equal or greater value.
Whilst we will attempt to contact you regarding any major change, timing is also of the essence and executing the order on time takes precedence.
Returns Policy
As flowers are a perishable product, we do not allow returns.
Floriculture takes great pride in the freshness and quality of our floral arrangements.
If not already in a water container, flowers are wet packed to ensure they retain moisture. Care instructions for all types of arrangements are provided to the receiver. Care must be taken by the receiver to follow these instructions to maintain life and longevity of the flowers.
If you encounter any issues with your order, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery. To help us assess the situation, kindly provide details of the issue along with a clear photo of the arrangement. We will evaluate your concern and work with you to find a suitable resolution.
Delivery Policy
To ensure a smooth delivery process, you must provide accurate and complete delivery details, including the recipient's phone number. If the recipient is not available at the time of delivery, our standard policy is to leave the flowers at the door, or business reception if going to a company, provided it is safe to do so. We will take photo evidence for confirmation.
If we are unable to leave the flowers, or if insufficient delivery information has been provided, and we cannot immediately contact you or the recipient, the order will be returned to our store.
Floriculture does not leave a card to call for flowers. We will contact you and seek a resolution for the delivery. In most instances we are able to redeliver at a suitable time, depending on the delivery area this may require a redelivery charge at the expense of the customer.
Please be aware that deliveries to hospitals and apartment buildings can be challenging. We recommend caution when selecting these locations for deliveries, as access restrictions may prevent us from completing the delivery.
We will make every effort to resolve any issues related to challenging delivery addresses, including contacting the recipient or seeking alternative delivery options. However, if the address proves to be inaccessible or undeliverable despite our best efforts, we reserve the right to cancel the order. In such cases, the customer will be notified, and a refund or alternative arrangement may be offered at our discretion.
Delivery disclaimer
Floriculture provides no guarantee around timing of delivery, other than the customers requested delivery date. This especially applies to same day or peak delivery times. We don’t currently deliver outside of Auckland.

Cancellation policy
Should you need to cancel your order, you can do so up to 48 hours before your requested delivery date. This applies to standard orders only this excludes wedding, funeral, and event orders. To cancel please email hello@floriculture.co.nz, or phone our store 09 626 0598. If you wish to change your order, please contact us as soon as possible. If the order has been set aside, made or out on delivery we will be unable to cancel.
If we are able to cancel your order, the refund will be processed to the payment device used for the original transaction. A processing fee of 5% will be deducted from the total amount paid. Please note that it may take a few extra days for the refund to reflect in your account. This processing fee is enforced by the payment merchant and is beyond our control.

Force Majeure
Floriculture shall not be liable for any delay or failure to deliver goods due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control. These circumstances may include, but are not limited to, natural disasters, extreme weather conditions, acts of war, terrorism, pandemics, government restrictions, or any other event that disrupts our normal business operations. In such cases, we will make every effort to notify the customer and offer an alternative arrangement or refund if necessary.
